1. Service description

PactPack provides AI-assisted, human-reviewed documentation support for roof supplement packs. The standard deliverable is a bounded pack prepared from the customer's submitted materials, typically including structured line items, quantity notes, code-citation treatment where available, annotated photo callouts, and a concise adjuster-letter draft.

2. Not legal/public-adjusting/engineering advice

PactPack is not a law firm, public adjuster, engineering firm, carrier representative, or licensed design professional. PactPack does not provide legal advice, public-adjusting services, engineering opinions, permit pulling, or claim-negotiation representation unless a separate written agreement and applicable licensing allow it.

3. No guarantee of outcome

PactPack does not guarantee carrier acceptance, payment amount, claim approval, code interpretation outcome, or any specific commercial result. Pack usefulness depends on jurisdiction, carrier behavior, policy language, the quality and completeness of submitted materials, and the customer's own handling of the claim.

4. Eligibility / business use

The service is intended for business users submitting job-by-job claim-support materials for roofing work. By using PactPack, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, authorized to act for the submitting business, and using the service for lawful commercial purposes.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining credential confidentiality, limiting account access to authorized personnel, and promptly notifying PactPack of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account unless caused by PactPack's own breach of these Terms.

6. Customer responsibilities

You must have the right to upload each file, image, estimate, note, address, and claim-support artifact you submit. You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and lawfulness of submitted information and for avoiding uploads that exceed the scope of the job, violate privacy rights, or require a licensed professional opinion outside the service boundary.

7. Service boundaries

Standard service covers one job, one supplement pack, and one included revision that stays inside the original submitted scope and evidence set. Unsupported jurisdictions, new scope discovered after submission, direct carrier communication, legal analysis, engineering opinions, and public-adjusting work are excluded unless separately authorized in writing and lawful in the relevant jurisdiction.

8. Payments / refunds / remediation

Payment is due through the designated checkout flow after intake validation and before final pack release. Refunds or remediation may be considered if PactPack accepts payment for a job it cannot fulfill inside the stated lane, if the jurisdiction is unsupported after payment due to PactPack error, or if a material delivery failure occurs. Revision requests must generally be submitted within 10 calendar days of delivery and must stay within the original file set and scope.

9. IP / license

You retain ownership of materials you upload. You grant PactPack a limited license to host, process, review, modify, and reproduce those materials as needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. PactPack retains all rights in the website, software, workflow design, and non-customer platform materials. Subject to payment and these Terms, you may use the generated pack deliverables internally for the related job and claim-support workflow.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. PactPack disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and any promise that a pack will be accepted by a carrier or produce a given claim result.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PactPack and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business, lost data, or claim-outcome losses arising from or related to the service. PactPack's aggregate liability for a claim arising out of a specific paid pack will not exceed the amount paid for that pack.

12. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PactPack, its operator, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your submissions, your misuse of the service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of another party's rights or applicable law.

13. Termination / suspension

PactPack may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create security risk, use the service for unlawful or abusive purposes, or submit work outside permitted boundaries. You may stop using the service at any time. Sections that reasonably should survive termination, including payment, IP, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute provisions, will survive.

14. Governing law / dispute resolution / venue

These Terms are intended to be governed by [Governing law and venue to be added before launch]. Replace this placeholder with the correct governing-law, dispute-resolution, and venue language before launch. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, disputes should be resolved in the specified courts or forum once that launch detail is completed.

15. Changes to terms

PactPack may update these Terms as the product, pricing, or legal requirements evolve. Updated Terms will be posted here with a revised last-updated date. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
